1. Who We Are
This website, technbyte.com, is operated jointly by two registered companies:
- Tech N Byte LLC — STE 4254, 1209 Mountain Road PL NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States (Reg. No. 0008071851)
- Tech N Byte LTD — 111 Royal Crescent, Ilford, Essex, IG2 7JZ, United Kingdom (Company No. 14248407)
If you're located in the United States, Tech N Byte LLC is the data controller for the information described in this policy. If you're located in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, Tech N Byte LTD is the data controller. For any question about this policy, contact us at info@technbyte.com.
2. What We Collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Contact form submissions — name, email address, phone number (optional), subject and message, when you use the form on our Contact page.
- Server logs — standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, generated automatically by our web server for security and troubleshooting.
Our contact form is protected against automated spam using a hidden honeypot field, a minimum-fill-time check, and Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused CAPTCHA service. Turnstile may process your IP address and browser signals to verify you're not a bot, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
3. Cookies & Analytics
This site runs the following third-party scripts, which may set cookies or similar technology in your browser:
- Google Tag Manager — a tag management container that lets us load and manage other scripts. It may load additional analytics or marketing tags over time; any such tags will be reflected in this policy.
- Tawk.to — powers the live chat widget. If you start a chat, Tawk.to processes your messages and browser information under its own privacy policy.
- TrustedSite — displays our trust certification badge and verifies site ownership; see TrustedSite's privacy policy.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them may affect features like live chat.
4. How We Use Data
We use the information you submit through our contact form solely to respond to your enquiry — whether that's an Amazon order question, a product demo request, or a services enquiry. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you separately opt in to one in the future.
5. Third Parties
- Amazon — if you buy from our Amazon storefronts, your purchase, payment and delivery data is handled entirely by Amazon under Amazon's Privacy Notice. We do not receive your Amazon payment details.
- PanelOps — our WhatsApp automation product at panelops.net is a separate service with its own privacy policy, which applies to data you provide there.
- Email delivery — contact form submissions are emailed to our team via our web server's mail system.
6. Retention, Security & Your Rights
We retain contact form submissions only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and keep a reasonable business record, then delete or anonymize them.
If you're in the UK or EEA, you have rights under UK/EU GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to how we process your data. If you're a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion; we do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email info@technbyte.com.
7. Children & Changes to This Policy
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (or 16 in the UK/EEA). We may update this policy as our website or services change; the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
8. Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to info@technbyte.com, or by post to either registered address listed in section 1.
